Hope Garden

Hope Garden, Battery Park, New York

The Hope Garden is dedicated to those living with HIV and AIDS, and to the memory of those who have died.

The garden was planted in 1988 and elarged in 1992 through a joint effert of the Tamarand Foundation, the NYC Department of Health, and the City of New York/Parks & Recreation. It is maintained by Parks, with the assistance of the Conservancy of History Battery Park.
