LOL, 11AM was late for me that day...had to hike a bit around the other side of the lake to catch this one and right after this, I slipped and off went the bird. And these hide so well, sometimes they are difficult to spot. There should have been some blue herons in the drained part, but you'd have to hike around the back side of the drained lake to catch them. Be warned, first time I saw a skunk while hiking around here...it scurried away, but I wasn't playing with it.
